Let me share a quick life hack I use to clean my mind & emotions. I practice slow breathing.
Some people also call it ‘Box Breathing’, which is usually inhaling 5 seconds, holding the breath for 5 seconds and exhaling 5 seconds. Repeat.
Usually by 15-20 sets of box breathing, the mind calms down. That is like within 5 minutes you can practically clean your mind.
The scientific reason behind this is that it reduces your pulse rate. A high pulse rate is one of the leading symptoms of stress / pressure. Conversely a normal pulse rate keeps you free of stress and able to think clearly.
In fact, US Navy Seals are taught & mastered the art of using box breathing in highly intense combat zone to calm down their nerves & emotions.
